মকর সংক্রান্তির পুণ্যতিথিতে রাজ্যবাসীকে শুভেচ্ছা জানালেন তৃণমূলের (TMC) সর্বভারতীয় সাধারণ সম্পাদক অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় (Abhishek Banerjee)। দেশজুড়েই সাড়ম্বরে দিনটি পালন করা হয়। সূর্য মকররাশিতে প্রবেশ করার দিনটিকেই মকর সংক্রান্তি হিসেবে পালন করা হয়।
নিজের এক্স হ্যান্ডেলে (X Handle) অভিষেক লিখেছেন,
“সকলকে মকর সংক্রান্তির শুভেচ্ছা! সূর্যালোকে সব আঁধার দূর হোক। মকর উৎসবে পিঠে-পুলির মিষ্টত্বে আপনাদের ঘর আনন্দ এবং সমৃদ্ধিতে ভরে উঠুক। নতুন ঋতুর শুরুতে ঐক্যবদ্ধ হওয়ার শপথ নিই”।

মকর সংক্রান্তিতে গঙ্গাসাগরে পূণ্যস্থানের পাশাপাশি, কেরালা এবং তামিলনাড়ুতে পোঙ্গল, কর্ণাটকে সংক্রান্তি, হরিয়ানায় মাঘি, গুজরাত-উত্তরাখণ্ডে উত্তরায়ণ এবং উত্তরপ্রদেশ-বিহারে খিচড়ি বা মকরের মতো সারা দেশে বিভিন্ন নামে পরিচিত। অসমে বিহু উৎসব পালিত হয় এই দিনে। সেই উপলক্ষ্যেও শুভেচ্ছা জানান অভিষেক (Abhishek Banerjee)।
